How does Spectra know a button could not be pressed?
On every visit, Spectra checks whether your important buttons can actually be tapped, or whether something is covering them, like a cookie banner or a chat bubble. If something is in the way, it notes which button, on which screen size and which version of your site. It doesn't take screenshots, so it works on every page.
Which plans check my key controls?
Every paid plan, from US$9.99 a month. The free plan records screens and groups errors into issues. Button checks, finding the version that broke something, and Spectra AI come with any paid plan.
How long does installing it take?

Will it slow my site down?
No. Spectra's own engine is built for speed: it does its work in the background, waits for moments nobody is using the page, and never blocks it.
What happens to my customers' personal information?
Card fields, addresses and anything else you mark are hidden on the device before anything is sent, so what reaches us is already covered up. There is nothing to remove afterwards, because it was never there. Recordings are stored in the EU and never copied outside it, and our data processing agreement covers every plan.
Do I need a cookie banner for Spectra?
Spectra sets no cookies and never collects IP addresses. By default it remembers a returning visitor with an anonymous ID kept in their browser. Turn on cookieless mode, one setting in the snippet, and nothing is kept on the visitor's device once the visit ends, so Spectra gives your banner nothing to ask about.
What exactly counts against my plan?
One MMS is one monitored visit: everything one person did in one sitting, however many pages that covered. Visits we measure but do not record still count, because measuring them is what makes the analytics cover your whole audience.
Do you charge per person on the team?
No. Every plan includes everyone, including the free one. Support, product and engineering can all sign in without it changing the bill.
Can I share a recording with someone who has no account?
Yes. Any recording can be given a link that works without signing in, and you can revoke the link later.
